Ordinary Heroes

There are 8 different heroes to choose from in Castle Clash under the ordinary category. These heroes are the easiest ones to obtain. All ordinary heroes are outclassed by elite and legendary heroes, however ordinary heroes are still important when beginning the game or when you’re not able to obtain better heroes. The game does not provide much information on each hero, so how does one know which hero they should pick? Below contains basic information on each ordinary hero at various levels as well as their effective uses.

Angel
The slow movement speed of this hero does not detract in a raid allowing it to avoid the front lines while healing allies in need. A good supporter if you're unable to get a Druid.

Heal: Restores a friendly unit's HP by 200% ATK.
Level 9 Heal: Restores a friendly unit's HP by 440% ATK.

Marauder
The tank of the ordinary class heroes. The slow movement speed leaves this hero with little use for both raids and arena. Not worth using unless you have no other heroes to choose from.

Gear Up: Reduces DMG taken by 15% for 6 secs.
Level 9 Gear Up: Reduces DMG taken by 41% for 6 secs.

Hill Giant
A very handy hero to have in the early stages of arena battling. While attacking the shrine it's able to kill off weak heroes in a base race. It is outclassed by the rare Spirit Mage.

Rock Throw: Deals 250% DMG to a random enemy on the battlefield.
Level 9 Rock Throw: Deals 600% DMG to a random enemy on the battlefield.

This hero deals splash damage to enemies which performs well in raids and arena.

Lava Burst: Deals 110% DMG to all enemies in the area.

Frost Witch
Frost Witch may have some uses in the arena for slowing down enemy heroes. However its slow move speed leaves it lagging behind the main group.

Icy Thrust: Deals 150% DMG to target and reduces its ATK SPD and MOV SPD by 10% for 6 secs.
Level 9 Icy Thrust: Deals 330% DMG to target and reduces its ATK SPD and MOV SPD by 27% for 8 secs.

Dryad
A contradicting hero. It has a very high health pool, but yet the slowest move speed. It may have a use in raids for hiding behind the main army and dealing damage, however it may not be able to tank as effectively. Must be summoned first for best use.

Shackle: Deals 100% DMG to target, inflicting coma for 1 sec.
Level 9 Shackle: Deals 320% DMG to target, inflicting coma for 3 secs.

Alchemist
The strongest ordinary hero in terms of offensive strength to single units. Decent HP, attack speed and move speed leave it with little drawbacks. A good pick for an ordinary hero.

Alchemy Hurl: Deals 180% DMG to target.
Level 9 Alchemy Hurl: Deals 540% DMG to target.

Marksman is an ideal choice for the ordinary class. It deals splash damage to 3 targets, has quick move speed and range.
